All our classes are taught by FAA Certified Flight Instructors that are excited about teaching! You'll see each course has a write up of what it's about.
If you are interested in attending, simply either stop by or call us (253-840-5758) to enroll. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to call us!
Private Pilot Ground School
In this class you will learn all the information necessary to pass the FAA Private Pilot Written exam. Just like when you got your driver's license, a Private Pilot Certificate requires you passing both a written exam and a in-flight practical exam. Topics include learning about the parts of an airplane, how they fly, aviation weather, calculating performance, aero-medical factors, and navigation. Even if you're not looking to certificated as a pilot and just want to learn more about aviation, this is a great first class to take!
Next Private Class Convening: Tentatively the First Week in January 2014 Monday/Wednesday from 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Instrument Rating Ground School
In this class you will learn all the information necessary to pass the FAA written exam for the Instrument Rating. This class will focus on flight instrument systems, attitude instrument flying techniques, obtaining clearances from air traffic control, and understanding the various charts and procedures related to the departure, en-route, arrival, and approach segments of a flight conducted under instrument flight rules. Even if you're instrument rated, but it's been a long time since you've been current or just want a great refresher, then this class will be of great benefit to you!
Next Instrument Class Convening: Tentatively the First Week in January 2014 Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:30pm
ForeFlight Application Class
This class is a 2-1/2 hour class that introduces you to the ForeFlight flight planning, and in-flight support application. The instructor will walk you through the various functions within the software step by step and provide practical "real-world" sequences for you to practice what you've learned.
Next ForeFlight Application Class will be posted on the events page
